Well, spring has sprung. We have been having the kind of weather that just makes ya want to get out and ride. So I have been dusting off the saddle and such, getting the trailers ready for the camping season. But the most fun is about to happen, yes I’m referring to the MBE Poker Ride. It is one of my most favorite rides of the year. Ya we work a lot, but I always feel like our MBE team is brought closer by this event. And, every year it gets better… and bigger. As some of you may know, our wonderful Armando is retiring from the chair of the poker hands, and I am going to try to fill those shoes, so hang in there with me. And, I need help with dealing. You don’t need to know how to play poker, so keep that in mind. Anyone willing to help me out please email me tracyranch@sbcglobal.net thank you, thank you.
Our meeting in April will be the last planning so if you can make it please come. Remember this is MBE’s big and really only working fund raiser please help our wonderful chairs with all the work we need done.

Carrot Crispies
- 2 carrots, shredded
- 1 apple, chopped in small pieces
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup bran triscuits
Combine carrots, apples, molasses and bran, mix thoroughly. Scoop a small ball onto triscuits and refrigerated overnight. carrot crispies will hold their shape if they are kept cool, but be careful: they get somewhat crumbly at room temperature. makes 6 to 10 crackers
